Acne is skin condition, a disease of the oil secreting glands of the skin that often affects adolescents, producing eruptions on the face, neck, and shoulders that can leave pitted scars.
Actually, acne is a chronic inflammatory of pilocebaceus follicle.
Causes
There are a few factors related to acne, such as genetics, hormone, food, mental factor, season, bacterial infection, cosmetics, and chemical agents.
Risk Factor
Generally, acne seen when a boy either a girl within their puberty time, age beetwen 15 to 19 y.o.
Sign and Symptoms
It can manifest as comedo or usually known as blackhead (a small plug of dark fatty matter blocking a follicle on the skin, especially on the face), pimple (a small round raised area of inflamed skin filled with pus), nodule (a small protruding lump, or swelling on the skin surface), and scars.
Treatment
The general treatment is including cleaning face with soap twice a day, don't too often, and avoid to use excess cosmetics, also restricts your diet from chocolate, nuts, butter, oily food, etc.
Before taking antibiotics or applying ointment for your face skin, just see your doctor for safety results.
